Itinerary
Arrive at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, meet your driver and transfer to the hotel. After check-in, relax or explore the nearby market depending on your arrival time. You may visit a selected local attraction if time permits. Overnight stay in Guwahati.
After breakfast, check out and travel to Kaziranga National Park through the scenic landscapes of Assam. On arrival, check in at the hotel or resort and spend the remaining time relaxing. An optional cultural programme may be available locally at an additional cost. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.
Begin the morning with a scheduled jeep safari in one of Kaziranga National Park’s accessible zones, subject to forest permissions and availability. Return to the hotel for breakfast, check out and drive towards Shillong. Stop at Umiam Lake before reaching the hotel and completing check-in. Overnight stay in Shillong.
After breakfast, travel to Cherrapunji and visit attractions such as Elephant Falls, Shillong Peak, Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, Mawsmai Cave and Eco Park, subject to time and local conditions. Enjoy the region’s impressive hills, waterfalls and limestone landscapes before checking in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.
After breakfast, proceed to Mawlynnong and explore the village and nearby Living Root Bridge. Continue to Dawki to admire the clear waters of the Umngot River, where an optional boat ride may be enjoyed at personal expense. Later, return to Shillong through the scenic countryside. After breakfast, explore selected Shillong attractions such as Ward’s Lake, Don Bosco Museum, Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians and Police Bazaar. Later, check out and travel to Guwahati.
